The girls (Peaches and Cookie) arrive in CT. Several pilots flew five rescued dachshunds from HUA in Nebraska. Here we are with the other two families and the pilot. What a wonderful “gotcha” day!

The pups after they arrived at HUA from the puppy mill. Vetted and cared for and ready to find their forever homes! At the far right is HUA founder Carol Wheeler, who rescued all five of our dogs: Flora, Nellie, Gina, Peaches, and Cookie.
